I don't think any one person is in control of the game, but there's definitely people who have more influence than others. And it shifts round by round who those people are.

My normal stranded day begins at 5:45 PM PST everyday just before the challenge. It ends everyday at 7:30 PM PST right after the vote. All strategizing must be done on Willard hours. Although I suspect some of these bitches actually strategize outside of the hours of operation but that is just superfluous and silly.
